New Year, new beginnings.

Wow, so this a new year.! What do you make of 2009? Mine had some pretty crappy times but I lived through it. I lost a couple people last year, some friends and family but I know they will never be forgotten. Im trying my best to make good of this year and its working out pretty well. I just started a few online classes for Educational Assistant, so that'll keep me busy! I've got 2 new love birds and they are just gorgeous! We just finished redecorating the basement and it actually looks amazing. Also finished my room and its unbelievable-the transformation! So it feels like everything is changing, so I should follow suit, right? Yes! So new changes are arising! Im going to get more active, work harder to my goal of becoming a Teacher, and helping out my community, whether it be volunteering or whatever.
I want to try out new things too, new activities. I always wanted to learn how to snowboard, and play the guitar, so why not, right? No ones stopping me so why not try it out? Im also starting to write a book! I know eh?! And its getting really good, so if you see my name out there, check it out! ha! I also want to get out more, and meet new people. There's a lot of things I can do, such as go out to the library, the market, the dog park, or anything. So new things to do and try this year.
But some people find that recognizing a 'New Year' is ridiculous, since people just carry on with their lives as if nothing will change. I find this sad for the people that think this because they don't see how that it's a beginning of a year that will never be repeated. There will be no more 2009 or 2008, or so forth. They are done, finished. And they also don't see how they've changed over the past year, what they've accomplished, and what they can accomplish in the next year to come. Not seeing the change can be depressing ... who would want to live their life not recognizing how they are growing as a person and how much change they are making in the world? I like to remind myself what Im doing today will become something amazing later in life. Because it will. So Im sorry for those who don't see how a New Year can become something great, because they are missing a lot.
So new year, new challenges, new endings and new beginnings. There is no other direction but to go forward and live life. So Im going out there and living it. I hope you all do too.

--It's those days that you miss the most you want back ... and you'll do anything to replay those moments that made you so happy. But all of us must go forward because you can never relive the same life. There are always new moments that want to be played out and want to be remembered. So go forward ... and live the life that can never be replayed again because yours is one a kind.--
